What is RovAir On-Demand?

"RovAir On-Demand" is a new service offered by RovAir for those who need wireless mobile broadband more than "the casual traveler" but can't warrant a two year commitment to a wireless carrier. With the ability to activate and de-activate your wireless 3G/4G card on demand, we can connect you only when and where you need it. By pre-paying at least 30 days in advance, Rovair can guarantee you the best rates available, $5.95 per day, allowing you to connect any 30 days through the year. Account configuration is simple.

• If you need wireless mobile broadband service sporadically through the month. In general, more than 5 days per month but less than 150 days per year is ideal.
• If you have a built in Verizon or Sprint compatible 3G wireless card in your computer (you must know the ESN or if you currently own an inactive Verizon or Sprint 3G wireless card.
• If you want to eliminate the shipping costs and the $250 deposit per card.
• Companies looking to maximize their account utilization without any additional cost.

• If you only require wireless mobile broadband a couple times a year. In this case it would be less costly using the standard RovAir service.
• You require internet access more than 150 days per year spread out over the entire year. In this case you would be better off simply signing a contract with one of the wireless carriers.

• Must have a compatible 3G wireless card or you may purchase one from Rovair.
• The area where you connect must have appropriate cellular coverage.
• The wireless card must be 3G and GPS enabled; in general, it should be a model less than 2 years old. We highly recommend the Sierra Wireless and Novatel brands.

• Must notify RovAir at least 24 hours in advance for activation.
• Card must be active for a minimum of 2 days.
• At the current time only the Sprint and Verizon networks can be utilized.
• Customer must have a positive balance with RovAir before activation and retain a positive balance during the period of use.
• Daily rate is $5.95 per day when prepaying 30 days in advance to when prepaying for 30 days of service, the daily rate is $5.95 per day.
• All prepaid days must be used within one calendar year of the first activation. There is no rollover.
• A day is defined as a 24 hour contiguous period.
