Mobile Wireless Rental
RovAir Wireless is the leading day pass provider of wireless mobile broadband (WMB) aircards, datacards and evdo cards. We provide individual users with a WMB option when needing internet access without a contract.
RovAir, Inc. was formed in October 2007 by a group of entrepreneurial visionaries that identified a niche market for internet service in the travel industry. Building on the concept and processes of an internet reservation system similar to that for hotel, air or car rental reservations, RovAir, Inc. is marketing an internet day pass for wireless mobile broadband data cards.
A consumer seeking mobile broadband data card service currently must enter into a two year contract for approximately $60 per month with one of the three primary carriers, Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T. Consumers needing internet service while traveling for business or leisure cannot always justify the economics of signing a two year contract and purchasing the data card directly from one of the carriers. Furthermore, justifying the monthly cost of wireless mobile broadband to an employer can also be challenging; however, expensing internet service while in a hotel or airport is more acceptable. RovAir, Inc. will enter into the necessary long term contracts for data services with Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T, assuming the risk of the long term contract and monthly cost associated with it. RovAir intends to target the traveler needing internet connectivity while on the road, but will charge in a day pass format. The most significant advantage RovAir has over its competitors is that the customer would not be limited to the confines of the Wi-Fi service located in the airport, hotel, or cafe.
RovAir's mission is to provide its users with superior high-speed internet connectivity combined with unparalleled mobility in an internet day pass format. RovAir will ship the data card to the consumer, and also provide return packaging, but the consumer would be responsible for the shipping costs. Daily cost will depend on the number of days the consumer intends to use the card, keeping in mind that there is a three day minimum.
